Travelling outside US while i485 and i131 are pending
My 140 is approved. i148 sent to NBC four months ago and no update since then. My i131 is pending for last 10 months and no update. if I travel outside US is there any impact on my underlying petition? I am on L1A visa.

you can come back on L1A but your I-131 will get rejected .

question- I have similar situation with pending i140. if i131 gets rejected and we re-file again after returning, will the clock reset again and will take another 10-14 months?

ya most likely as it will be a new case. if you have a underlying visa to help travel , then the decision to file for 131 should be based on how soon you are expecting I-485
