N400 Eligibility - Am I eligible?
Hey guys - I have been in the USA since 2015. 2015-2018 as F1. 2018-2022 as H1 and 2022 onwards LPR (CR1) via marriage.
Residency requirements say I need to be in the USA for 5 years. I have been in the USA for 5 years but under different visa status. Wondering if need to apply for 751 or can directly apply for n400? Any one been thru this? Any insights? #n400 #n400eligibility

it is 5 years under PR status or 3 years residency married to a us citizen. N400 can be concurrent with I751 but no decision on N400 will be finalized until I751 is approved. Hence even concurrently you'll never detour I751 decision and go straight to citizenship. Some cases both interview gets folded into 1.
