Sounds like your PD isn’t current, so there’s nothing you can expedite - no visa is available to you at the moment. You’ll need to watch the visa bulletin to see when your case may progress.

@Alice Smith looking at your other posts it seems you applied not too long ago? So your case has been passed to the NVC but now you need to wait for your Priority Date to become current before anything else happens - your PD is the crucial bit of info you need to give when asking questions. you’re aware it’s a very long wait for your category? at least 8 or 9 years, far longer if you’re from Mexico or India. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2023/visa-bulletin-for-may-2023.html and to reiterate, you cannot expedite anything until a visa is actually available for your son - at that point you can request an expedite.
