Traveling with AP while expired EAD?
hi 👋🏻 I’m adjusting status, waiting for my I-485, I just traveled internationally with AP I-131 without trouble and I’m planning to travel again in a couple months but my EAD will expire soon. Any experience with that?
should I cancel my travel or EAD has nothing to do with AP?

Of all the trips I have taken, I have never shown nor has CBP asked for my EAD. You don't need it!

@S Martinez if your EAD is a combo card- that is both AP and EAD and is expired or about to expire, do not travel but if it’s a stand alone AP and is valid you can use it to travel
