hey guys...
they skipped my EAD and I got my GC. I'm trying to figure out how apply for SSN. at Social security office, they said that o have to wait 20 days.
but they do not know if the USCIS applied for me or not.
how is your experience ?

What do you mean by they skipped your EAD? You have to wait for 14 days.

same for me I got no ssn or EAD. went straight to GC , my local ss office told me 12 weeks to wait 🙄

wait for like 2-3 weeks. uscis will send it to you. if you don’t get it by 2 weeks call ss office to confirm if a social security was created with your details. If no wait 1 extra week. it’ll definitely show up. it happened to me too

@bribri uscis will send it to you. but still book an appointment with ss office while waiting. it just takes longer this days to get it.
