Ready to be Scheduled for interview
Hello guys, I am just wondering why does it take so long to be interviewed at Seattle, WA field office? Since September 04th, 2020, my geeen card through marriage was updated to ready to be scheduled for an interview. Till up to now, it remains the same. I have sent case inquires and calls but no update was provided to me for the delay. If any of you know why the delay, please help me with answers. Thank you

some people move from ‘ready to be scheduled’ to ‘scheduled’ in a few weeks, some people take 18 months. it means that you application has been looked at and then sent to your local field office and then it waits until you’re at the top of the pile and an interview comes available. you can look up processing times for Seattle on the uscis website to give to an idea. and, if it’s outside processing times, then you can make a case inquiry. but it’s not a “delay” - just part of a very long process.

@Sam I have seen some comments about it too on Reddit! I just hope they will at least start moving things a little bit fast. What’s PD?
