NVC payment rejected
I have already paid for my IV fees 10 days ago and I was trying to fill out my DS-260 forms, however, I have noticed that the payment status on my CEAC account changed back to pay now. I also have transaction Id. I do not know why the payment was rejected after 10 days. Can anybody helps me with it. Thanks

Hello. This just happened to me! I made a payment on April 23, 2023 and the money was deducted from my bank on April 25, 2023. My payment status showed paid and I was able to access where it says "submit document". Tuesday May 9, 2023, I recieved an email that my payment was rejected. I went online and it shows up as "pay now" when the day before that it stated "paid". I submitted an inquiry with my proof of payment and my bank statement that shows the funds were removed. I don't know how long they'll take to respond.

NVC told me that duplicated and rejected fee payments should be resolved by pay.gov within 30 days.
It really confused me.
I am so frustrated and stressed.

The NVC also told me that duplicated and rejected fee payments should be resolved by pay.gov within 30 days. However, on the pay.gov website it states the following;
Why is my payment rejected or delayed?
Contact your bank or credit card company for that information. Pay.gov doesn't have that information. Pay.gov only collects your payment information and then sends it to the bank or card company for processing.
Where is my refund?
Contact the agency you paid. Pay.gov doesn't have this information.
I am going to call my bank tommorow.
