did you get something ? we are waiting too and we have the same status - At NVC- i don't know what takes so long there.

@Sarah L. Still nothing yet from NVC. CEAC status still says "At NVC" as of now. Since we got a case number through inquiry, we went ahead and submitted the DS-160. But we really have no idea why it's taking so long at NVC.

Yes we did the same and i filled the online account and payed the fee to book an appointment. I don't know why it takes so long. Where is your interview ?

it’s exactly 1 month now since our case was sent to DOS! No welcome letter or email yet from them

what i heard is, that every country has a specific amount of visa per month. if there are a lot of applications from philippines it could take a while until they can send it to manila because they are full of work. not sure, just what i heard. That could be a reason why it takes so long. I found a webpage they said it take around 17 days to import the case in the system at nvc( it was 15 days by ours) and after that 6 days to get the information per letter (that would mean today for ours)

I got a response to my request yesterday from NVC and they said that i dont get a welcome letter because it is a K1 Visa. I just get an information that they forward my case to the US consulate/embassy in germany. Me, ma fiancee and the embassy will be informed when they send it to germany. but today, still nothing. And you have to expect 2 till 4 workdays until the embassy work with that case then.

@Sarah L. @Chris H @N. H I am in similar situations. My fiancée application was approved Feb 09, 2024. She lives in the United Kingdom. Our Notice of Approval is valid from Feb 09, 2024 - June 08, 2024. I contacted NVC to get the Invoice ID, Beneficial ID, and Case Number. They provided the information. When I tried to send another inquiry, this was their response To Whom it Concerns: The National Visa Center (NVC) has received your petition from U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services. Your NVC case number is LNDXXXXXXXXX. Due to your petition type, you will not receive a request for fee payment or document submission. All case parties will be notified when this petition is forwarded to the assigned U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. I am a little worried 😟

@Elevated Son We got that same response when doing the inquiry. It seems all we can do is just wait at this point. If what @Sarah L. is saying is accurate, then the embassy's are truly backed up and there's no true timeframe as to when they'll get our case... It's truly a heart wrenching process

as soon as we have our case number I already filed DS-160 and paid visa fee. We’re still waiting for our case to be ready so I can make an appointment for interview and medical.

our Case is in transit right now. I still didnt get any notice per mail. but it is going to germany now.

We just got our case update also stating it's In Transit. We got a follow-up email a few moments ago

our case is now ready but still no email :(
