please when did you see the update that your case was sent to DOS ??? And how long did it take for you to request for your case number from the date your case was sent to DOS ??

Hi, so my case was approved on March 26, sent to DOS March 27. On April 10 I sent an inquiry for my case number, on April 11 they responded to the inquiry with the case number. I waited and waited and then April 24, my case status updated to “Ready”, there was never an in transit status. And my USC fiancé received the K1-FTP April 23 (it was in his spam and he wasn’t aware). I hope this helps

@Dr.Neyz Faith well at first it had updated on this other app that I have downloaded called “case tracker” and then I went on the CEAC website and used my NVC case number to check the status and it was really “ready”

thanks I will have to wait for 2-4wks to request for case number

@Britt D so it is really possible to be case ready without notice of "In transit" NOA 2 Approved - Feb. 26,2024 Case was sent to DOS - Feb. 28, 2024 Got my Case number - Marc. 15,2024 (AT NVC) Until now. what country are you?

@Adah G🇵🇭🇺🇸 I didn’t know it was possible until yesterday, I at least thought my case would be in transit but when I refreshed it on case tracker, it said ready. I’m from Jamaica. Have you submitted a public inquiry to them recently? You can ask what’s the status of your case
