hey MARVEL can you share your experience with us because i am going to attend an interview this Friday (03-12-21) with my wife. we are married for more than two years now and wife is a US citizen and my I -130 Petition has approved already last year so now only need to attend an interview for AOS !

@amly first of all good luck everything should be straightened and simple if you have submitted all the required documents or if you have them with you

yes MARVEL I have all the joint documents with me and also have lots of pictures with my wife and her family

but can you share it if they asked you any questions!

then you should be good the questions are very basic stuff about you and your wife but most importantly you should be calm, polite and honest in answering the questions if you don’t know just say it . don’t lie or try to guess

I had my interview on the March4th officer congratulate me and my wife and said I should check my mail following week

same with mine but the only thing showing on the app is that interview completed but your case must b review

@Eddycoco: Mine has been like that since October 2020. Home visit 4 months after and still waiting. We are sooo over it.

but why waiting for so long?

I only wish I knew. Too stressful for anyone. Married 2 years and waiting.

@adegbanga Adesipo my interview was on March 4 too, the officer said that she approved me but need To talk to her supervisor so both can be at the same page, let’s see if I get any response or change in the app by this week

@Adegbenga were you given a white paper that says your case is held for review?

@z.a original @captain rtf, can you tell the difference in someone receiving the white paper and not receiving and how it helps.

@ty__: Not quite sure how that works. A few ppl I see got no paper and got their approvals after a short time. We got the paper that specifically stated the Case was being Reviewed. Tough to judge other cases since we all have different variables, not to mention officers and field offices. A tough one to answer my friend. Thanks for asking I wish I had a direct answer for you.

he Marvel did you get anything yet because we had the interview today and it was really good cause the officer separated us and asked the questions and the questions is very easy to answer so we gave all the correct answer and I asked the officer tha how was the interview so he told us it was fine and you will get the mail soon so keep checking you mail every day

we had the same experience so we still waiting

did they give you anything end of the interview to sign it

yess and told us to expect something in our mailbox in the coming days

it was for you or they took it back after you sign it
