Horrible Interview
Our interview was scheduled and it didn’t update anywhere online. matter of fact we got the mail 3 days before the interview. Interview was bad. IO sounded like she was in a bad mood. she doesn’t believe my husband and I live together. & although we have a almost 3 year old child she said people have kids together but that doesn’t mean anything. which is true in some cases. she was very rude and very arrogant and I was super nervous. We didn’t go with a lawyer because our life is natural. Although our Driver’s license has the same address, she said we need to get it updated to the new address. Point to note we moved during the height of the coronavirus and failed to change our address in some cases. like I didn’t change mine at the job either. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️. At the end of interview she didn’t give us any paper but said she will be sending RFE. PD. 07/15/2019 MARRIED TO USC. Queens FO. first interview 04/07/2020 was cancelled due to COVID. I must say I should’ve rescheduled and got my documents together. time was not enough to get certain things and we didn’t get them before because we didn’t know when exactly would’ve been the interview. oh.... she also said she’s giving us enough time to get documents. As I see it, She won’t be sending that RFE in a hurry and possibility exists that she’ll schedule a home visit. she’s free to come at anytime. hopefully she comes when the home is tidy. 🤣🤣

@Ali: You have a genuine marriage and a child. Funny how lately they disregard a couple with a child as a sham marriage. Like ppl want to just have kids for ha ha sake. Seriously? If she is in serious doubt and you feel it will be a home visit, I can tell you how that works. She will refer you guys to their FDNS Department and they will send an officer to visit your home to verify. I strongly believe it will not get to that point with you guys because u both have a child and most of your documents will check out. We had a very mean officer too. He delayed and sent us to FDNS. We got a home visit early February (4 months after Initial Interview which he conducted as a Stoke). Visit went well and visiting offices stated he was convinced a few times. We are still waiting for a decision till today. You guys will be fine. Stay positive my friend.

@ Z.A original: OMG!!! after I got home from the interview I started to get documents together. I went through my email, my mail, everything. I was shocked at the amount of thing I found under duress! I should have found them during the 3 days that I received the interview notice. I’m not going to wait for her to send me an RFE. Luckily for me, all my documents have time stamp(the ones done online shows the date they were updated) and the ones received in the mail were dates too. As soon as my new drivers license arrives in the mail, I will be hand delivering my package to the USCIS queens field office building. I’m not going to sit and wait for her to decide for me! I know of people who are actually sham marriages get through easier and faster than genuine people and it’s not fair at all!!!

@Ali: I had so much to add on before and after my interview. The officer only took what he wanted. I am still waiting.

I Have Same Experince! We separated for One Hour! At the end of Interview he ask for more evidence! Interview in December 2018 Submitted RFE in May 2019 No Status Update!
